This is the collection that a very lucky bunch of ppl saw at Milan fashion week by italian fashion house Trussardi. Im a big fan on minimalism and allowing tailoring and design to speak for its self and this collection represents just that for me. Ok how spiffing is that navy leather jacket, freaken fashion mafia this!

The Door by Eva DuVernay for Miu Miu

This is my first encounter with the work of Eva DuVernay and must say I'm really impressed at how she managed to make this short film be more than just about the beautifully structured Miu Miu costumes. This is a story of sisterhood, openness, care and wisdom shared amongst a group of amazing women(who just happen to look smashing) and is a reminder of the essence of sisterhood and how as women we should uplift each other, empower and love another. My interpretation of this film and what i have taken from it is that if we open our doors to each other with true sincerity the world would be a better place without the constant negative vibes associated with women to women relationships in general. As women we need to learn to love each other, listen to one another, make each other smile and feel good about ourselves. Open doors for another and remember the true essence of sisterhood.
