Dear fashion Gods, i dnt think I've asked much from you, so i dnt think it would be unreasonable to ask that you bless me with this WHOLE collection this summer. ALL OF IT!! I am soo impressed with how this amazing South African brand( for those who don't know) has gone from humble beginnings, selling skirts made from Kenyan fabric to this! This is on another level of innovation, commitment and just goes to show how far passion, inspiration and wanting to make a difference in what you do instead of wanting to just making a living, can get u.. I have no words, i couldn't even pick my favourite, hence i uploaded almost the whole lookbook. There is also a fashion film of this collection shot in Llandudno beach in Cape Town, but i couldn't upload it. Nothing is more attractive than someone who is comfortable with who they are and what they represent. Vashtie definitely is that person who doesn't conform and sticks to what works for her in terms of her style of coarse. For those who don't know who she is....get a life. Jokes, shes  a director, designer and artist who has done music videos for the likes of Kendrick Lemar , Solange Knowles, Kanye West and Kid Cudi. She was also in the country last year for the STR CRD event which will be taking place soon in jobo. Dig her friendly demeanour and of course her style.

Individualism and true style is in how one interprets trends to suit them, whether it be print, floral, lace, polka dots, monochrome or something inspired by another decade ( 90's or 80's).Nothing beats the thrill of finding a garment in a version/style/design that best represents you and your preferred interpretation of a trend. At the moment I'm in love with vintage blouses, Í particularly appreciate the different fits, textures, and prints they come in. This collage is inspired by those different visions we have as individuals and how true style is timeless and lives through our fashion treasures, those we have found, and are yet to find and cherish.
